Hollywood Lakes Golf Club provides great deals for visitors wishing to play, it costs €50 for two people wishing to play an 18 hole round with one golf buggy included.Early bird rates before 11am from Monday to Friday cost €20. Green fees after 11 am are €25.Weekend green fee rates are available from €25. If you know a member and would like to play a round it's costs just €15, once the member accompanies you on the day.You can use a golf buggy at €30 per round, which would be €15 between two people, around this beautiful course. Push trolleys can be rented for €3.
Hollywood Lakes was a beautiful but challenging course to play. The greens are in immaculate condition and play extremely fast. The challenge of two long par 5's (14th & 15th), back to back was a tough, yet enjoyable test at the same time. We really enjoyed the stunning, testing par 3's and several of the par 4's provided good opportunities to make birdies. The bar and restaurant upstairs in the clubhouse are state of the art, yet have a very welcoming feel to them. The staff are very polite and courteous, and the food, from lamb and steak burgers to fish in batter is delicious. The pro shop stocks the latest up to date golf gear, and the guys in there will help you with any regripping on your clubs or repairs you might need on your clubs, they are very friendly and helpful. This course enabled us to have a very enjoyable round of golf, taking in stunning views while having a good time and playing a challenging course. We would reccommend Hollywood Lakes to anyone who's looking for a good round of golf and an enjoyable day.
Hollywood Lakes Golf Club is situated in Ballyboughal, Dublin. A relatively new club in the first place, it is also recently refurbished and has top of the range, state of the art facilities both indoor in the clubhouse, bar and restaurant as well as outdoors on and around the course. It is quoted on their official website as "one of the finest 18 hole parkland golf courses in Leinster." The course provides a challenging, but enjoyable test to golfers of all abilities. Its renowned sand based greens are playable all year round. The stunning views sweep from Lambay Island to right across Dublin city and are sure to leave you speachless. Natural lakes come into play on ten of the eighteen holes and these water features, along with the maturing, dense woodland provide a wonderful landscape for all to enjoy. A full academy style practice area is available to the public. This contains three chipping greens, a driving range and a putting green, to help golfers warm up before stepping onto the first tee. Hollywood Lakes is a fantastic course and provides a challenge for all golfers, while also providing the opportunity for a great day out with family or friends.
