Portmarnock golf club is one of the highest ranked and rated links golf courses in the world. It was rated as the second best golf course in Ireland by golf digest back in 2014. The course is always in immaculate condition throughout the year. The staff both on the course, in the restaurant and offices are very polite, courteous and professional. The course is always a pleasure to play, with the par three 15th hole almost worth the admission fee alone. The clubhouse is steeped in history with every corner you turn and you feel you’re in a special place from the moment the gates open. Even if you struggle on this demanding layout, the food in the restaurant will certainly cheer any person up. You can gaze across to Lambay Island and Howth head in the distance, while looking across the 9th and 10th holes. The pro shop is a great destination for momentous before you leave.
